Pacific Theatre Campaign - Historic Encounters
Folks someone expressed an interest for a campaign involving the Pacific with aircraft carriers.
So are we up for the challenge? Please take a moment and let me know by casting your vote.

Huh!:FI:Falcon wrote:It was a relationship doomed
I am so glad that you saw the way of not dating ones with “peckers†big or small and has settled down to a normal marriage…… right..right……never mind i guess that are some things I don’t need to know.
I too was a Falcon in college, one of the other schools messed with our banner “Fighting Falcons†to “F……….. Falcons†they were the “Citrus College†which we changed to “Citrus Fruits†crazy days back then, oh the days of higher education.

Falcon Sighed...

Yep!
I had the same problem once.
I'd bring Sheila
a bouquet of flowers.
She ate them.

Yes, that will be the trick -
(a) Short flight distances;
(b) Good overall gaming performance; and
(c) Figure out how we are all going to land afterwards.
Does anyone know? I mean without exiting the game, and assuming with just have one carrier, how do we all land without - you know?
Need to look at what DCG offers. Might have to edit the campaign template. Plus I need to explore the landing part.

Chock or Not to Chock, That is the Solution Not the Question
Ok, with the help of some crazies over at UBI
, I have been informed that during take-off and landings, all you have to do is have your chocks in place and other planes cannot collide with you. Excellent!
So, on takeoff keep your chocks in place until it is your turn. Upon landing, put those chocks on as soon as possible. Obviously good voice communication and some patience will be needed. Will seem odd to be the last guy to land on top/through a bunch of "chocked" planes.
I will hunt down a PF campaign and post hopefully over the weekend. Suggest those interested to practice some before next Wednesday. I know I need to real BAD.
Also, make sure you have the following buttons assigned -
(a) chocks (critical);
(b) open/close cockpit; and
(c) raise seat.
Regards,
TS!

Thanks Falcon. Yes another important key. I think your wings will be already up upon mission startup. So get them down!
Folks I played around with a PF campaign last week. The immersion of having moving objects and two rows of planes on the deck should give us an experience unlike our dogfights we enjoyed a long time ago.
