Tales from the Barnyard

Post by :FI:Falcon » Fri Sep 30, 2005 3:51 pm

Ah, love is in the air in my tree-broken backyard.

My two fully functioning toms, Cucy (pawpaw) and Sandy (son) met the cutest l'il black and white cat-ette this morning and all familial ties were quickly forgotten when she flicked her fluffy tail in both of their directions!

Uber "roow-ering" ensued and for a while it looked as if things were getting quite perilous. The lady (hmph!) cat snuck away at the peak of feline tension and only a call of "foood!" from me stopped the peril. Cucy and Sandy are napping on the rug together as if nothing happened now.

Women can be such a pain.

We have a new giant ferret in the backyard. Well, he likes to call himself a possum. Our last ferret/possum was fried by a transformer last spring so it's good to see new stock move into the yard. Bits of the late critter are still hanging from the wire. Not even Katrina could dislodge him.

The mocking birds are teasing the squirrels, the squirrels are teasing the cats and Eileen is teasing me about losing the money for my new computer. All is right in the world.

Bill (Hunter82) says that Crossfire should be available very soon. I invited him to post here. Maybe he can help us with our corn lice problem?

Oh, I forgot to tell him about our "No Solicitation" rule so if he makes a blatant advertising post, (which I doubt), I'll handle it.

Entertaining post Falcon.

As for Hunter82 (we'll call him Bill ;) ), no one would ever yell at such a fine lad. But just in case let's get some rope and a gag for our beloved Gurberly when he shows up. :D

Cricket changed her mind (again). Instead of a Laptop of her choice, she now wants a Norwich Terrier. Cheapest one we could find is still NOT CHEAP!

But, hey, she did let me go to Duxford 2005 and meet the finest folks around - :FI: !!!! :D
...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!! :x
