Another FNG

Post by Aidan » Sat Jul 30, 2005 7:41 pm

Cheers!

I applied to join the squadron; not sure if you'll have me, but WTH, I'll post this before the results are final, if you know what I mean. I'm an ex-US Navy type that lives (temporarily, mind you!) as an economic expatriate in the Republic of Korea (yeah, the $$'s are good and my tax breaks are unbelievable). I like flight sims but am incredibly bad, especially after the 6th or 7th beer. My goals in life are to 1) Buy a sailboat larger than a dinghy and go back to Norway and the Barents Sea, 2) Live anywhere except where I am now (Seoul, with 12 million of my closest friends), and 3) Survive more than two consecutive missions in IL-2.

Caveat lector: I am a Victor Davis Hanson fan...

So, ave atque vale, and all that....
