which 109?

Post by :FI:Falcon » Wed Jul 27, 2005 10:40 pm

Good folk,

After I finished my Spitfire I thought, "are there any missions for the MkVc?". I realized that I hadn't seen any. Gah! So, before I start a new 109, is there a greater need for one mark over another?

a G2?

G10?

F-4?

I haven't done any German ac in over a year and most of my designs are old, simple, bad or riddled with too much of other designer's work.

All you mission mavens and server savants out there ... what 109 would you like?

Thank you,

A G2 and G6/AS and then G14, or what about the whole range

Awright Falcey!

I would love a 6/AS for definite.

If you could deck it out in full on Eire colours that'd be class.

Who said the G-2?

Well, here we are back to cruddy voids and freaky matting. I've been correcting and building a whole new void from a mess.

It's good to be home.

I'll probably make a semi-historical design like the one above. You will have an authentic paint scheme but it will be membery and Irishy.

Then, if things turn out, I'll make an Irish pale green design w/Irish rounds, etc.

If there is any market left, I'll do a full-historical design.

German paint schemes with mottling require <shudder> talent to do right, so this may take a while.

But your mottling is just sooo purdy...

That said appreciate it is a lot of work and takes a large part of any free time you may have.

Suggest for the duration of this exercise, you might forget about washing, cleaning, ironing and other general household duties to enable you more time to complete this skin.... I'm sure your family won't mind ;)

As stated before, never let historical accuracy get in the way of colour co-ordinated design aesthetics ;)

ps... you left an "8" off your void ;)

Dawg, these old German voids!

Image

90% reriveting and reline-ing,

40% of graphics,

10% detailing,

0% hatches,

.01% mottling and

10,573% of corrections to void done.

oh!

and I did do another eight!

<pointpoint!>

PS: I AM totally swamped by conflicting info, so if anyone sees any glaring errors, let me know!
