Hyperlobby and MDS zuti mod
Managed to get Hyperlobby installed and (Murph) no issues launching a MDS here.
Not sure if joinable on my IP as not able to test that at the time , but able to create and launch mission.
No greying out of button, so that remains a mystery.

Thanks, Sneaky. I think it means there is something wrong or incompatible with the particular mods I have in my JSGME or in my mods folder.
What particular additional mods are you using besides HSFX?

Re: Hyperlobby and MDS zuti mod
I'll have to try and disable all my other mods besides those and see what happens.

Re: Hyperlobby and MDS zuti mod
Just a thought - do you have firewall permission for both HL .exes
Hyper lobby pro - hlpro.exe
Asynchronous ping - aping.exe
plus the Mod version of il2fb.exe
worth checking you have correct version of V basic for HL too
hyperfighter.sk/modules - Visual Basic 5.0 SP3 runtime

Re: Hyperlobby and MDS zuti mod
Latest update- I got it working! (TrackIr required a PC reboot to sort it out.???)
Anyways, HL prefers a desktop screen resolution of 800x600 to display all of it's buttons onscreen. With my desktop set at 1680x1050 (native), some of the stuff just was'nt visible, such as the button that should appear onscreen next to my name as mission host! I had to hunt around to figure which empty space on the screen had to be clicked to bring up the "start mission" option after I had saved the mission settings.
Why has HL never upgraded their window resolution? Who runs their desktop at 800x600 anymore? (Yes, it's meant to be a rhetorical question.)

They expect you to do that!:FI:Murph wrote: Why has HL never upgraded their window resolution? Who runs their desktop at 800x600 anymore? (Yes, it's meant to be a rhetorical question.)
Perhaps try 1.75 even?Open the hlpro.ini file in to text editor, find there line contain Scale=1 .Its resize multiplier. Posible values:
For 800x600 resolution is optimal value 1
For 1024x768 resolution is optimal value 1.25
For 1280x1024 resolution is optimal value 1.5
Otherwise good news

Re: Hyperlobby and MDS zuti mod
Murph,
You may find that the "optimal values" are only a good starting point.
I've noted that fine adjustment is possible by increasing the values by .05 per try to get the best size for my screen. However, re-installation changes all that, and the previous optimal value may be different the next time.
Weird!
Kind of moot, as I don't use HL much anymore, but thought I'd mention it.

Re: Hyperlobby and MDS zuti mod
Thanks, Dan. I also almost never use it anymore, but we were trying to see if it helped Wolfhound's and Ardmore's connection issues to use it rather than a direct IP. So it's good to remember how to use it. Thanks for the help guys.

Re: Hyperlobby and MDS zuti mod
I got a solution over at the 262squadron site- For Vista or Win7 users;
Go into your HL folder and look for the program's "skins.ini" open it with notepad and change all entries using three "dots" i.e., "..." (without the parenthesis), to ".." (two dots).
This restores the appearance of the HL GUI so that the buttons are once again visible.
