Turning off tags and in game messages would make for a more realistic movie.
If you've got track IR use that for in-game panning as it's smoother than the mouse.
Explore the pan and zoom functions in Vegas.
Don't forget you can re-record .ntrk files to compile short scenes and rushes for capture in Fraps.
