Losing a life is a terrible, terrible thing, but I know that if I was a real pilot, and if I could choose how to die, that would be in a plane, if you know what I mean. He died doing what he loved the most.
May he rest in peace...
May he rest in peace...
*Bury me at sea where no murdered ghosts can haunt me, if I rock upon the waves then no corpse can lay upon me*
A sad day indeed.
2007 has been a tough year for aviation. Fortunately, there were dozens of other airshows over this past weekend, all over the world, and it seems this was the only show-related accident. I hope they never cancel airshows where I live.
That fallen pilot would want his fellow WW2 aviation enthusiasts to celebrate his memory. So, raise your glass to him the next chance you have.
A toast: to boldness, to courage, and to soaring spirits. Blue skies & tailwinds, brother.
