Now, how do you fly with these things?
I was having some trouble with my X45 anyway (dead space in the y travel), so I picked up the X-52 and the pedals. They seem to work. The only trouble is, I can't seem to fly now.
I've cartwheeled more landings and take offs today than I'd care to talk about. I'm guessing that, with the new install of '46 and the new joystick and pedals, I'm basically starting over.
Joy.
See you all out there...

Good deal on the pedals Snaph!
If you're having more than just a li'l trouble with the rudder try going a wee bit conservative on the rudder set-up in game.
Try something like this ...
01-04-09-16-25-36-49-64-81-00
The default of 10-20-30 ... may be a bit aggressive at first.
My setting are even less for slower swinging of the nose while aiming.
Still, all you prolly need is practice.

It's odd, because I don't remember this happening previous to this release but one of my wings dip constantly. I thought it was somehow related to the pedals, but I'm not sure.
I used to be able to fly fairly level, with minor adjustments.
I calibrated my joystick prior to heading to bed, but I didn't test it. Maybe that was it.
Also haven't installed the drivers for the hardware, decided to see what M$'s default drivers did.
A bit of work ahead, looks like... But I'll enjoy the immersion once I'm done...
Thanks for the settings Falc. Do I put those on the Z axis in the conf.ini file?

I s'pose you can, but I do it in-game in the "controls" section.
It's prettier.

Make sure that neither your pedals or joystick are spiking or erratic, spend some time in the Windows joystick control panel and look at the read outs on the stick and pedals while putting them through the motions.

Got peddles? Great! Now all you need is a pair of wheels, a handlebar and pump. No need for a seat though.
