Tara update

Post by :FI:Sneaky_Russian » Sat Jan 20, 2007 1:07 am

The future of Tara now hangs in the balance. Clearance has already started, before the final documents have been signed. It appears the NRA are flaunting European law and disregarding public and international opinion even though alternative routes have been proposed.

The Petroglyph National Monument was "in the way of progress" so the final solution after all the fighting was to move any stones with petroglyphs from their original location to a new location within an "approved" area already inside the Monument.

So much for the love of History, eh?

Baldrick: I'd love to be a flier. Up there where the air is clear.
Blackadder: The chances of the air being clear anywhere near you, Baldrick, are zero!

The Irish NRA aren't as heavily armed Igo - and just as well from what we are seeing.

My sister lives near Tara.

The Govt. should be taken to the European Court over this.... It is nothing short of criminal.
