The day after the BIG torado hit Cowtown. Stumbled across this pic on Google.

The highlighted area in the center, is the crane I was working with to stand up trailers that were turned over/upsidedown/on top of roof, etc..

Just to the left of where the crane is, we found one of the fatalities. The security guard waited too long to leave his hut and got 5 or 6 trailers piled on top of him. :(

We worked 27 hours non stop that day.

The other highlighted area is the flower shop where my wife works now. It got clobberred hard too.

Do a Google search for "FT WORTH TORNADO" and you can see a lot more pics of stuff that got wiped out or torn up.

I was at the pub about 8 miles west of where that thing hit. About 30 minutes before it hit, I was in that part of town. I decide the weather looked too damn rough to hang around there and headed west till it got a bit nicer. :roll:
