Or is it just lonely, like the old rancher, and needing companionship and a friend? Maybe, in a thousand years or so, the rancher might be able to tell you that. hope you guys enjoy it, a sort of offbeat western set in the 1950s, and i put everything i ever knew about living on a ranch and farm and growing up in the wilderness into this story. it was one of the easiest stories for me to write, as i simply used old memories to create the storyline's world, animals and humans. i had a grand time doing this tale. it was like taking a time machine back to the very best parts of my long ago childhood.

You could sell the film rights to that one.

Would make a decent film, add a couple of sub plots to eat up the time and it would be 95% better than 90% of the sh!t that hollywood produces these days.
