I've been using these for almost two years. They are very, very good. Sound reproduction is excellent. They are not heavy. The cans cover your ear completely, and are comfortable enough to wear for hours. I've no idea how it works, but it does. You "feel" small noises. It's hard to describe really...for instance; when the gear retracts you feel the doors close. If the canopy is open say, and you fire cannon, you are extremely aware of it. Once the engine starts making the faintest grindy noises of imminent failure you know things aren't good. Same with stalls, you feel the buffet. As I said, it's hard to describe. It has definitely added to the immersion level. I guess I'm endorsing this thing.....Let me think...Yes, yes I am. Go and get it. You won't be sorry. There. Toodles.

Ahh . so it's all sub-sonic bass and enhabced audio reproduction then.
I was imagining a nasty vibratey thingy.

So more like sitting on an 18" bass bin than having a marital aid strapped to the head then.

Yes Sneak. It is exactly like that. Only louder, shake your teeth loose. Like an electric cooled pony harness, with fuel injection. Like the ghost of Gene Crupa, with an overhead cam and glass packs. Like the...you get the picture. Anyway the only drawback seems to be saying "What, I'm sorry, could you say that again?'. Seems a small price to pay.

Ah, so "Sensurround" in cans then.(guess thats trademarked)
"Force feedback" a bit of a misnomer here.
