Get it "TIGged" and re-do whatever you have and ride the wheels off of it.
My old knuck snapped BOTH the front motor mounts..

Pulled the motor, took it to a TIG welding wizard and told him I did NOT want to split the cases and do all that shyte. Told him to take all the time he wanted and rebuild those lugs. HE spent about 20 minutes a day for 2 weeks adding a bit of aluminum each day until we liked the way it looked. Drilled new bolt holes using the frame for a drill guide, had to shim it a bit, bolted it up and rode rudely off into the sunset.
Just make the sure the welder type guy knows his stuff.

Lots of good folks that are heavy into scooter stuff hang around and most everybody is very willing to help. Just ignore the occasional political rants that appear there..
