Resuming my flying career

Its about time i start flying again, dont ye think? But before i start, i need some help with these frigging patches. I have already reinstalled Forgotten Battles, Aces expansion pack and PF, so when i start the game it says i have V 3.00. Now, do i need to install v 3,1 before i can install v3,2 , install v3,3 before ican install v3,4 install v3,5, before i can install v3,6, before v3,7, before i can install ---- well, you get my point.
Where do i find them? I looked at the PF site, but they only had the 4.02 version.

And .. how the hell do i install those patches? I know ive asked about this before, but im still a noob at such things..

don't do what i did, i figured that 3.01 & 3.02 would go first but no..... 303m.exe does, (no 3.01 or 3.02) after i did this it worked

Install patch pf_patch303m.exe (100MB)
(run game to check operation; look on IL2 startup screen to confirm new patch number)
Install patch pf_patch401m.exe (141MB)
(run game to check operation; look on IL2 startup screen to confirm new patch number)
Install patch pf_v402m.exe (31MB)
(look on IL2 startup screen to confirm new patch number)

Got it all up and working now!


Tho my plane is acting like its shot up in the wing, and missing a rudder

You have to trim it with a crate of beer, mate:)

The latest patch introduced some changes in the FM (as usual) and now the babies fly a bit different.. Beer helps to smoothen the reactions of both the plane and the driver. Not to mention the fact that it makes it harder to hit you by the AAA.

That`s it!

But still it`s wobbling like myself after 2 litres of coffe.. Hard to hit anything as the bullets is spread like if you had a couple of uzi`s mounted on the nose..
Anyway, i managed to take off on second attempt and shoot down a bandit on first attempt, well, i didnt really shoot him down I got in a couple of rounds in his wing and then he crashed by himself, but hey, it said enemy aircraft shot down
