YIKES ENTRECHING TOOL!
Having held one with a razor's edge, I concur with Rules on that.
Where did you find that sweet lockblade?
For good old utility, nothing beats a sheaf knife with a good edge, made out of an old leaf spring from a car. Ugly, easy to get at in a hurry, and holds a really good edge. Mine turned into a musical insturment about eight months ago. (TING-SPLASH)
One of the most useful I've used, was the 'Ol cheap and nasty scanvik dive knives with the plastic handle. For some reason the odds of you losing a knife are proportional to how much you pay for it. At least for me
. You just didn't give a crap about it. But the damn things hung around forever, and they came with a belt sheath. All for the price of less than a pack of smokes!
BTW High carbon steel rusts at sea. Matte finishes suck for looks. Although rust check and some elbow grease removes it most of the time.
