Thanks for posting the pics, Gen.
Regarding the Avi recording issue - just had to uninstall some codecs that conflict with the lock on avi machine, now works ok. I have to look at lockon forums and check if I can use other codecs to record nice avi files from tracks.
That was great mission, still have to learn, but it is very involving and enjoyable.
Looking forward to more missions

P.S. Of course I still love Il-2 very very much.

But do you have any pics of that mission Gen?
WOW, looks like an awesome game graphically. If only I liked jets.

Enjoy my "Tom Cruise" mates!

Have the demo and love it, best feeling sim I've ever flown. If it's something the squad would be interested in, the store shelves in Atlanta would be one less. Huge learning curve, and I can barely get into the virtual skies one day a week, but count me in for trying to join the FI mates with this one.

Mates,
Her at Walmart saw "LockOn" in a tiny box on the shelf for $20.
Is this the base game and the upgrade available online?
Or is there a "LockOn 2" or something on the shelf?
Thanks,
F

...probably the original "Lock On - Modern Air Combat".
The "Lock On Gold" edition is the one you want, and your best bet is either Best Buy or on line.

Looks fantastic - as I am hoping Santa is bringing a new PC for Xmas then maybe I will be able to run it.
I can get a new PC through a scheme my company is running called HCI and I don't pay tax or National Insurance so basically about half price.
The top spec PC through the scheme should cost about £22 a month over 3 years - sounds too good to be true

Way cool..Checking online now for the gold pack. I never could find enough people who were interested in modern air combat games. Looks like fun to me.

I bought LOMAC.
I Dl'd LOMan.
My PC sh*t on me.
After extensive T-Shooting the answer was in front of my face
all that time!
...(Uh, I ran out of space for virtual memory.

)
So the upshot is to wait for the next format and re-partition my two HDs using the 80gb unit a bit more efficiently.

Ok, think I'm gonna get it. Would we have enough to get a weekly or bi-monthly session going? The more the merrier. Don't know the first thing about hosting or servers stuff, but I will look into it if we get enough interested. Just throwin' it out there.

I've picked up a copy on Amazon for under a tenner.
I always wanted to love Falcon 4 but it was such a bugged out program that the frustration overcame the enjoyment so I got rid.
Flashing over the countryside at near mach speeds still appeals so Im going to give it a go. I'd be up for online play.
