Always enjoyed that site..

Found this interesting, looks at he stats on the kills by Willi Batz and check the reported altitudes.. 4500mtrs being the highest I saw against a P-39 and one Yak at 4000m. :shock:

Most of the rest were down pretty low.

Yes, very interesting. I was looking for ones like this for the Allied side but haven’t yet, you know of any.
In one site I read the Germans kept track of every round their pilots fired, and that they could tell how many shots it took for one pilot to bring down a plane as compared to another pilot, and on the average how many shots it would take to bring down a certain type of plane.
