Not sure what you mean mate? Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I was throwing C4 onto the ground below from the helicopter. Maybe you thought I was destroying the helicopter's guns? Sorry if I didn't understand your comment.

While I understand why there is a limitation, would love to throw out my C4, pick up some more from a supply drop and go plant them too. If not, at least you should be able to denote a few instead of being forced to deploy all your C4 supply. Maybe I'm missing something here?

My favourite kits are probably Support, Anti-Tank then Medic. I will use Engineer sometimes when flying or driving tanks. I also sniper a bit but not often. Lately I have been trying to use the Special Ops.

Was ref to the proposed changes in the forthcoming patch.on certain maps you can own the town with a black hawk manned by two minigunners,a medic and an engineer. The latter two can be the pilot who leaves the contols to fix, people or the helo.As a gunner you can amass lots of caps/kills this way,and as I say own the map.The patch proposals appear to recognise this and are seeming going to emasculate the mini guns and self repair function.

Gottcha mate. :)

While BF2 has a solid engine, like any game, folks upset about lack of teamplay or appropriate behaviour really need to police it themselves. I think this silly business of ranks, medals, awards and online stats tracking does indeed instill better teamwork/behaviour, more so than most would care to admit.

And despite all the "teamwork" aspects built into the game, it appears the most important, VOIP, is not really being used. While clans are on TeamSpeak (etc), folks with headsets ready still say nothing - me included.

Any of you guys in a BF2 clan? It seems to me, like IL-2, this is probably where the real fun is in tactical gameplay.

For me there doesn't appear to be any other North American :FI: BF2 players, though you Euro boys do have a small group available.

The only Eastern Coast :FI: member I can think of is Napier, our chef from New York City, but he already belongs to a clan.

Ideally, I would like to BF2 game online maybe Friday or Saturday evenings, with IL-2 flying Wednesdays and the odd Sunday afternoon (more as winter approaches). That's plenty for me, as there's other gaming and of course RL stuff to keep me occupied.

Notwithstanding, I would still love to get together with you guys for some dedicated :FI: fun - say host a 16-player COOP. I could probably make it as soon as tomorrow (Saturday, September 10 @3:00 pm Atlantic Time Zone, which I believe is -4 GMT during the summer right now, right?). If not this Saturday maybe next week. Alternatively, it could be during some Sunday session for say an hour or so.

Did you guys play? Stupid beautiful day; was out helping the wife wash the car. All that fresh air and - what's that bright light in the sky again? - came in for a little nap before BF2 so I could keep up with you young ones . Woke up almost 2 hours later. :( Did anyone play?
