You guys need to download and view this new BOBII movie:

I have to go now, so just a quick note so you don't miss it.
Great cockpit freedom (I think using TrackIR Vector) awesome clickable cockpit, and really great engine sounds, plus more+
Check it out

TrackIr seems a bit jerky, otherwise very impressive indeed!

Looking at the video again, I think for atleast some parts they used the hat switch, especially the "jerky" sectoin which looks like it is moving in steps probably by a joystick.
The engine sounds are great

And I really like how you can open your spits canopy and stick your head out the side during take off for a better view.

Who WAS Oleg again?
Very promising. Do an addon with online play and we would have a new addiction for the squad!

Assuming Olegs masterpiece wont be out for quite a while, I think I might well take this for a spin.

The low res movie does not do the high quality cockpit justice here are some screenshots from the movie:
I'm definetly getting this game unless there are some unforeseen issues (like extreme bugginess).
I hear the AI is really good and makes for great offline dogfights. They can't see through clouds and their gunnery is very human. Plus the with hundreds of aircraft in the air and a large scale dynamic air war going around you it should make for some great offline flying. They also have a free view camera (independent of aircraft) and a bomb camera which should make for some pretty shots

Man Snoop, you were right about the sounds, they are sweet, and the engine very nice.
My biggest complaint about the IL Series is the sounds are so lacking to me, way too generic. No sweeter sound than an opned up Merlin cruisin' by.
