Have you tried that program?
It´s great!!! you can run it while playing PF... You just enter your altitude and IAS in it, and it calculates the right angle. It puts the bombs exactly where you want them to hit

This one;
You have it, when you download "bombing_guide v1.04... Check the "heavy wing"-thread, there is a link to it...

From here:
http://www.airwarfare.com/guides/b25_lbg.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Download the B-25 Level Bombing Guide V 1.4
There´s a folder "utilities" Unzip bombsight table, and install it... works like a charm!

Looks good - but isn't it "cheating"?

It's safe to assume that the actual person in charge of getting the bomb to hit the target used any tool available to him to make sure that it happened. We only get the plane, not the person in charge of bomb dropping goodness (nor his tools and gadgets, like this one)

Thank you Kitty

Maybe a bad choise of words from me... it doesnt "direct" those bombs into target, it just gives the correct values for you to do so...

...it isn't really cheating.
In reality the Bombadier normally would use a pencil, paper, and circular slide rule to convert Indicated Air Speed (IAS) to True Air Speed (TAS).
Use of the Table is effectively the same.

...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!!
