Irish flying joke - kind of

Post by :FI:Nellip » Thu Jun 16, 2005 11:43 am

Especially for patrone, an air stewardess joke............. :D

A man of mature years flies to Dublin for a boozy weekend.

When he gets into the airplane to return home the stewardess notices he has a plastic bag on his lap. She asks him if he can place the bag in the overhead locker, or in the seat in front. The man says he has some Dublin Bay crabs in the bag which is he taking back home for his friends in the pub to eat.

The stewardess then offers to put the crabs in the galley fridge and the man accepts this offer.

The flight goes off without incident and 45 minutes later the plane lands in England. As the plane taxi's in to the terminal the stewardess comes on over the intercom:

"Welcome to Birmingham Airpost ladies and gentlemen where the time is 2.00pm. Please remain in your seats until the aircraft has reached a complete halt at the terminal building. PLease be careful when opening the overhead lockers incase any items have moved during the flight which may fall out. Mobile phones should remain switched off until you are inside the terminal building. Thank you for flying Aer Lingus today and we hope to see you again soon. By the way, will the man who gave me the crabs in Dublin please make himself known to the cabin crew."

"He who warned, uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed."
