Yeah, i was fun beeing in the corps of engineers... i got to blow things up, and stuff like that :lol: Also breaching mine fields was fun business too... we would stick a 25 meter long explosive tube in to the minefield, blow it up, puff some coloured smoke, and start yelling "here´s the hole, here´s the hole" in a rhytmical manner, so that those infantry guys would find that hole and go through it :lol: :lol:

I was only there for 11 months, because i was a conscript (we have a compulsory military service for all men)... Ordinary grunts served 8 months, and NCO´s and reserve officers served 12 months... i was an NCO, back then... I was stationed in Sodankylä, which is 160km north from the arctic circle... and yes, it´s cold out there :lol:

I finally made it back.... haven´t slept in 50 hours, so i doubt i wont be doing any flying tonight ;)

Why the heck it takes beer so long to get cold in the fridge... it´s been 20 minutes, and it´s still not cold enough to drink :lol: I need that beer.. i really do... i´ve deserved it :)

Reality (realizim) is over rated. Give me an IL-2 mission in full 'wus' mode anyday. 25 ft above sea level? I guess i,m on a mountain at 396 ft.

That's it, If I drink a few Rum and Cokes, that'll straighten out the spins I'm gettin. Add a twist of lime and you got a cuba libre.
