Good afternoon to ya'll. Detailed description about how I feel about life? Well I take life as it comes and plan ahead for a little security. I like to read, write poetry, listen to classical music and drink beer, party, and get down with some funk and jazz. I just graduated college with a B.A. in History. I did my senior thesis on WW2 aircraft and tactics, I read everything I can get on WW2, especially the stuff on aircraft. I don't have a pilot's license.... yet. I plan to get one in the future when fund permit. I play IL-2 a little too much I think, I do pretty well online but I know tht working with a team is much more efficient and more fun. I don't know anyone else that plays flight sims so I figured joining a squadron would be a good way to find some mates to fly with.

I'm not Irish but I have a friend with bright red hair who drinks alot, another who plays scottish and irish folk music on the violin and I like Guiness....

I live in North Carolina but I plan to be moving elsewhere in the near future, I am applying for graduate schools through out the US and as soon as I get accpted to on (praying) I plan to move on out there.

Welcome to the spiffiest wee aerodrome in the Kingdom.

You will find that we have a number of 'real' pilots here and some others too....

There's a vast amount of knowledge floating around, and it will be nice to be able to add your own 60GB or thereabouts to the communal melting potty. (I told Helo to go easy on the chillis....

)

Anywho... welcome to the future of flight simming -or was that the past....

AIM is Aol Instant Messenger, same as an AOL screen name but free, and you cna get rid of the ads with a little program called deadaim.

i tried to join that server four or five times yesterday, i kept getting booted or timed out and sometimes just refused entry. didnt have any problems with warclouds or GG so...........

what gives?

as far as Snoop's server,

we may lose it for two weeks starting Tuesday, I think?

Welcome. Finally someone who can teach SnoopBaron a thing or two about planes. Man that guy just gets lost after explaining about there always being two wings to these planes.

With regards to the server, well at one point it was password protected. Besides that very busy with spiking pings at times. If you can join other servers with no problems than I wouldn't worry for the moment. Just try joining again.

And yes Snoop's server will be down until he returns in two weeks - TWO WEEKS FOR SURE (sorry couldn't resist).

Suggest you start adding :FI: mates to your friend's list and joining us where ever you may find us.
