TIR woes
After approx 18 months, the cheap sticky tape that I used to attach the pen top (to which my TIR dots were stuck) onto my cap has finally started to lose it's stick. End result being my TIR is a bit floppy when I move my head around.
Before going to the expense of buying a whole roll of duck tape, I'm keen to investigate any other TIR dot solutions people may have. For want of a better phrase, how do you mount yours?

Thanks.... she's called Cheldrea
I did try the boom thing when I first got it, but I don't use the headset when offline... hence the cap.

I use the same thing(the glasses) but I bought two pairs of clear protection glasses that work well(3 euro each)

Tir is for Track IR (I assumne the IR stands for infra red)
http://www.naturalpoint.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's used to track head movements to emulate mouse movement. So rather than use a mouse or hatswitch to look around you in the cockpit, you use TIR. Keeps your hands free. Adds a bit to the immersion as well.

Have you tried VAC (Voice Activated Commands) yet Gurb? I enjoy them offline hence I am always wearing my headset.:FI:Gurberly wrote::FI:TacticalS! wrote:I use one of TIR's dots on the boom stick (i.e., mic) of my headset.
