I think that my X45 is starting to show its age. Last night in SCS I noticed that one of the hat switches is getting unreliable (I've suspected it for a while but chose to ignore it)
Any suggestions as to a worthy replacement would be appreciated chaps. I like the X45 and Im used to it so an X52 or X52 Pro seem like an obvious choice. A lot of flyers swear by the MS Sidewinder ffb, but if I could get hold of one can I still use my X45 throttle ?.
Any help appreciated!.

I use the MS FFB2 with the X45 throttle. As long as you have plenty of room on your desk, and a spare USB port then no problem.
It gives you plenty of key mapping options and IL2 copes fine with multiple controllers.
Be warned on the cost of the MS stick though. My wife spilt a cup of copy over my old one and it cost me nearly £100 for a second hand replacement on e-bay.

I still have troubles with the height of the stick (not laying quite comfortably in the hand) but you´ve lots of possibilities to configure the eight buttons. The two throttles are really handy to use yet the stick itself could be a more heavier ...
After all in this price class (40 Euros) I´d recommend everyone to buy this stick ...
