Love that movie - there is another good one about Malta called "Faith, Hope and Charity" that is worth a look as well.

I made up a Il-2 related site a while ago, where these movies can be collected on one site without remembering 100s of links to them.

With a total of 91 added movies in several categories, 16896 total views and 527 views the last 7 days, it´s well accepted by the community already.

Must admit, that was teh only IL2 movie I have switched off part way through. Technically OK, just soooo cheesy.

Still better than my effort though!!

Did any of you who watched "Faith Hope and Charity" (besides myself) notice that the record on the gramaphone was turning backwards?
Only us old farts would be familiar enough with such things to notice it...

Watched it at work, so sound was off, but visually it was stunning. How did he get some of those camera views and so smooth. Where did the B-17 internal views come from?

Possibly from a sim called B-17 Flying Fortress. Looks like he used Adobe After Effects- that software could do wonders.
