Help me get online! Patches Needed!

Post by Mutzy » Tue Oct 23, 2007 10:08 pm

Hey guys,

Just setting up the new Pc. I currently Have:

> IL2 Forgotten Battles
> IL2 Forgotten Battles AEP

How do I get up to date with current versions. I haven't a clue where to start!

I know I need 1946 which I'll buy tomorrow, but is it neccessary to patch the above versions first or will 1946 look after that part?

Could you point me to update links also?

Cheers

You'll need the '46 DVD installed.

then patch to 4.08m

Get 4.08m patch here

this helps too :-

No DVD exe file for '46

Thanks for that. Got them downloaded now.

Will '46 run off Forgotten Battles? Or what will I need?

'46 installs FB,AEP,PF and PE2 + Sturmoviks over Manchuria complete in 1 install.

Just add the patch 4.08m and you're good to go

note:

Some are using "=FI=" as some servers dont allow for ":" in username.

Mutzy!

Now, don't get all worried or nuttin' but ...

we may have an issue about you using the FI thingie now.

You see, you're not on the roster any more.

BUT it prolly won't be a big deal at all.

Give the Road Crew a day to ruminate about it.

Do you want back in the squad?

If so, and I don't see why not, just let us know and wait juuuuuust 23 hours and 56 minutes and then we'll let you know if it's all right to sign in to HL as :FI: or =FI= whatever.

As a member you will be given access to the "Squadron" forum again.

If the RC gets all persnickidy 'bout it, then you might need to wait a week to go through the whole member-candidate thing again.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Falcon

Ah no bother at all dude,

If there's a spare bunk for me again I'd love to come back as I'll be on all the time (And its handy cos :FI:Mutzy is my HL username- and it still exists!).

Didn't mean to be presumptous there if I sounded that way

So I'll come back if you'll have me! ;)

Cool!

Come fly any time. Tonight is a great time. We meet around 8PM CT (hey Moe and Sneaky do it!) on TeamSpeak.

Sunday at 1:30 CT (~7:30PM freaky Eurotime) in HL is the big session.

In the mean time, just in case, fill out an application thing and send it off.

No presumption perceived. Happy to have you back.
