Well my Forgotten Battles & the Aces expansion came in….. all I can say is WoW!
While I was waiting for these to come in I was using the PF which I thought was great too, but I downloaded the upgrade (stand alone) to this one and it seems to have max my computer , I know it was just shy of what they recommend,,,,,,,,, will this happen when I download the upgrade for the FB+AEP(Aces Expansion Pack)+PF……… me thinks I need to beef up my old computer

And what planes do you guys fly the most. I really enjoyed the germen’s 109’s…….but then I’m just getting started

My Favorites are; NOT necessarily in the order listed EXCEPT for the 109.
109 F's and later
190A's and the 190D
La5 and 7's
I16
I-185
Spit
F4U

The 190D's and 190A's are the most rewarding for me personally. They are difficult to fly and fight well with. You have to think ahead with those planes and PICK YOUR SHOTS carefully. Speed is life and they lose speed rather quickly when turning.

I enjoy the 109's for the same reason, but they are easier to fly.

The La5's and 7's are a delight to fly. Tough, fast, well armed, powerful and AGILE. A rare combination.

The I-185 is rather like an I16 on steroids. THe I16 is pure joy to fly ( except for "negative G" which has a tendency to kill the engine.

Spits are fun and the F4U is the ultimate warhorse of WWII in my opinion.

Like you i am new also .
My cpu is just a shade slow for all the merged installs but I run it anyway .
Only played one multi game so far with one extra person so i cannot really say what the performance is like.
