Has anyone seen this?

Post by :FI:Snaphoo » Sat Apr 30, 2005 10:34 pm

http://www.guildwars.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I just bought the game. And wow, is it cool! So far I've had a lot of fun trapsing around the lands of the game. If you liked Neverwinter, and play that at all, you might like this game. It's a bit streamlined from NWN, but is still a lot of fun. I'll post more later when I'm at home.

If anyone is interested that is.

:lol:

No monthly fee involved.... Buy the game and play. They'll have expansions, and those will be "pay to expand" deals, as I understand it. But I haven't done anything but buy the game. No CC needed to get on to the servers, it's "free" to play, once you've bought the game.

WoW is fun, though I wish they would weed out the non rpers on a roleplay server. and do I hate the honour system. wow we now have an excuse to gang even more on all the weaker classes yay!

anyway, i play on ER, but haven't since two weeks or so (and everyone has passed me in levels, again, yay hehe). Drop me a PM if you like to meet in ER sometime

Though I am not sure if I will renew after the 6 month subscription. Seems many try achieve L60 just to raid and well I couldn't care less about that, but we'll see.

Better than EverCrack to me...

Post by :FI:Snaphoo » Tue May 03, 2005 1:31 am

Because I don't have that monthly fee!

:D

Well, I've just now had a chance to come back to the forums... And you've gotten the game! Cool! It's a good bit o' fun. I'm sure by now you've figgered out most of the differences in the game and NWN. (The biggest being GW is not based on 3rd edition D&D) Anyway, good luck Falcon, have fun... and remember to keep the Skale in front of you at all times....

If you study hard, you too can have the bodyguards that I do...

One of the coolest features in this particular game is that when you leave with your party, you will not see anyone from the server you are on until you reach the next major "city, outpost or town" as the game creates an instance of the world especially for you. No kill stealers, item theives or general mayhem that is caused by lower levels trekking down the same paths as the higher level people. It is a lot of fun. Even if you're by yourself. But a complete blast if you're with a group.

I had the game in my hand today, but didn't think it as being much (no montly pay means I cannot b... complain about things wrong with it :D)

When I get really bored of WoW I might give that a go instead then, but now I finaly have an appointment met PF (about f'king time!!)
