Post by :FI:Macca » Thu Jan 20, 2005 11:18 pm

it is true, it looks soooooo beautiful....

Ok my dear sqdrn....

do you like Lock On?

Yes, I know it has a lot of bugs.

Listen

In the beginning of February, maybe later there may demo of a new flight sim avaliable. It is said to be developed in beautiful Russia. the team that is developing the sim didn't come to an agreement with Sukhoi.now...the sim is a modified trainer for professionals...or it is what they are saying. There will be flyable Su30 in 3 variants, 27,33, MiG 29 F-15, F-16, F-18.Don't know how much of this is true.My rusian is not that goodrather poor, dictionaries were in use. Also some facts I got from the polish Il-2 forum. However they do not know a lot about the sim....
The cockpits are to be "clickable" like in BoB WoW 2,
Graphics is to be astonishing, requirements HL2-like,All objects will be pixel shaded , later maybe pixel shader 3,
2-3 maps - Northern Europe, Balkans, maybe India vs Pakistan (!!!!).
Screenshots , video, other info will be avaliable with the opening of the official website (when???)

Ok, I do not know how much of this is true, do not blame me if it is not.....

anyway

Looks really good :)

I order Lock-On from Amazon and they kept delaying the order untill they dropped it...

Maybe I should wait for the next sim before buying a copy?

Snoop, my m8, you can order Pacific Fighters (you will have twin PFs!:)) and get a copy of LOMAC for free.at least there was such a bargain at lomac's site some time ago. In Poland Lock on is still ( i believe) avaliable , english version, costs about 49 Polish zloty -recently the price went down.It is about 15 dollars I think...

I didn't play LOMAC much ,I had radeon 8500 and then 9600 pro.Now with my new rig i can run it with no problems, but no time. refer PF and CoD:) to LOMAC.
