If there are no explosions,
profusive acrid smoke plumes,
grinding, scraping, wailing, moaning sounds,
or massive seizmic vibrations
coming from your 'puter within the next hour ...
congratulations!

Still running, and no smokeand what happens when you turn it on
What about virtual memory then... when i had 512mb, my virtual memory was set to 768 - 1536mb. Now when i have 1 gig of memory, should i just double it? What would be optimal for gaming?

Ya it REALLY sucks when ya let all the smoke out of the wiring.....
All that stuff about volts and ohms, and amps is just gibberish.. SMOKE is what does the deed. I know this for a fact. Cause the last several devices that I let the smoke out of, CEASED TO FUNCTION!!

Yeah Willie, it´s the smoke, what makes all electrical machines work
I havent done anything to my virtualmemory yet.... i posted a question about it, on a finnish computer forum... i got a lot of replies, all right... one of those guys said that it should be set as low as possible, one of them said that it should be set as high as possble, and one of them was talking about some swap-files
Adding up ram sure improved my fps, btw...

Best thing about this new ram, is that it´s inside the computer.... my GF has no idea, that i´ve just spended 140 euros for something
She didn´t like it much, when i bought that external hard-drive...
"honey, what´s that silvery box, next to our computer"
"it´s... err.... well, it´s a hard-drive"
"but we dont need a new hard-drive"
"well, not exactly, but it´s an external hard-drive.... cool,eh? ...."
"was it expensive?"
"noooooooo..... by the way, you look beautiful tonight, how about if we go to some restaurant, for dinner"
