You can have some of ours. It was 109°F where I was working this afternoon.

Officially it was 106°F. Made me feel a LOT better when I heard on the radio it was only 106°. #-o

Feel for you Willie.

Just got back from holiday in Cyprus - they were having a bit of a heat wave and it peaked at 46 degrees C (115 Fahrenheit). But all I had to do was drink cold beer and drive to the beach. Working in that temperature is a killer - literally - don't you have a Union rep, or are you management

Union? LMAO!! I werk for the gubmint. Ah'm heah to help you............. :p

Fortunately for me, I don't have to do much in the heat. (unless the air conditioner goes out in my truck). I'm too fat and old to enjoy that any more. My job entails inspecting the work that various low bid contractors do for us. I have to make sure they do what they agreed to do in the manner that we require it to be done. I get most of the "fun" contracts because I can converse with the gents from South of the border in their language.

Texas is also a "right to work" state and the unions can't force you to join. No unions for us "state hands" anyway. LOL

You're right about those kinds of temps being killer. Every year several small children die from being left in cars and their parents get sent to jail.
