So, has anything changed since 2006?

Post by :FI:Cider » Thu Dec 10, 2009 7:05 pm

I just managed to install the il2 1946 dvd and am now downloading the 4.09m patch. I read a lot about 3rd party addons/mods but really haven't got a clue how to get my il2 up to date. I'm sure there's a thread around here dedicated to this topic, but I'm not sure which one guides me in the right direction. So please, could anyone show me the way to this thing going again?

thx in advance

thanks mates, will comply.

Do I have to download hfx4.0 AND 4.1?

After installing the 4.09m patch il2 quits after the splashscreen (im'm running a AMD quadcore rig with win 7/32bit) showing the correct version (4.09m).

When I got everything fixed I really looking forward to fly wiht you soon (if my still lazy Internetconnection permits).

Stu, look out for our Xmas-Special Show on 22.12.2009, beginning at approx. 21:00 GMT. There's On-Air Glühwein-drinking and assorted Christmas-noises LIVE from the heart of Yurop (Hollabrunn, that is).

Feels good to come back!

Hey Cider

You will need the no CD.EXE file which can be found in the squadron forum. Just download it and copy it into the game folder. It will overwrite the origional and the game will then work. Yes download and install HSFX 4.0 THEN INSTALL 4.01 over the top.

Hope this helps

Wardog ^:)

BTW Good to hear from you again mate ;)
