Jeez! Connor keeps me busier than my wife, kids, grandkids, dogs, cats, and ferrets combined!

The 145th Squadron is Conman's next campaign. Somebody get him a girlfriend, okay!? ;)

WIP!

"Initially based at Drem it moved to Dyce later in the month and stayed there until returning south in October. Its Hurricanes were replaced by Spitfires in January 1941 and with these it moved onto the offensive. In July 1941 it moved to Catterick in Yorkshire and remained there retraining pilots for Spitfires and conducting North Sea patrols until embarking for the Middle East in February 1942.

Arriving in April, it began operations over the Western Desert in May, becoming the first Spitfire squadron in the theatre. It carried out fighter patrols and bomber escort mission until the end of the North African campaign, after which it moved to Malta in June 1943. From Malta, the squadron supported the Sicilian landings after which it became the first Spitfire squadron to operate from the island, enabling it to support the Allied landings in Italy. The squadron moved to the Italian mainland in September 1943, still in the fighter role. Lack of opposition resulted in the squadron moving to the ground attack role and in June 1944, it was officially reclassified as a fighter bomber unit, a role in maintained until the end of the war. It disbanded at Treviso in Italy on 19 August 1945."

The 145th Squadron flew Spit I's, II's V's IX's and VIII's. This skin will be for the Mk. VIII, which should be the ride for the entire campaign. [-o<

Another great looking skin Stu. I know that I've been seduced by the Dark side (and even darker side of RoF and Arma2) but could I have a number '30' with extras for my collection.

Mick- have a look-see at the opening cockpit Hurri over at this - http://specialaircraftservice.com/sas/index.php site.

So these should have D-Day stripe too, or you want one set like this and another set with stripes?

~~~
Sure Darth Richard, be advised that Conman's newest contract includes a full set of 190-A-6's for the Empire ... I'm guessing in a Med or desert scheme.
Gah!
~~~

I'll dull down the paint a wee bit. This looks way too ... you know.

thanks all,

Folks, here's the 190 we'll use.

Many of you already have this. It's a Med Theater scheme.

Their Buttons file is supposed to be compatible. I'm running the Sea Fury mod and everything seems to be working.

Edit-

The SAS buttons file has something going on with the AAA version in that the P51 sounds are lost if you use it. No heartbreaker for me- I can't stand the P51 but just so you know.
