I've just read that the MiG 29 that is in the museum was so much used that it was not economical to get it back into state of airworthiness so it was put into the museum. We got 24 MiG29s from Germany for 1 Euro for each plane. However the differences in equipment and their condition caused the Polish to send only few of the fighters to squadrons.
Oh, the anchors...
methinks they were dropped from the Sturmovik while flying over enemy tanks. They anchored at German panzer and flipped it over.
