How do you get you ip adress to work through the game. I found my ip but hosting is still a big problem. What do i need 2 do?

Nothing in general.

When you host a game, the one who wants to join just needs your IP adress.

It's more easy via Hyperlobby, because no IP adress must be exchanged.

Anyway a firewall or a router can cause troubles because of security settings.

well airway we exchanged ip and we were told time out anyone know a way around this?

You and the other one have to have the same game version and port 21000 open in firewalls and routers.

That depends on the used soft and/or hardware.
It differs between the different manufacturers.
