In the File _Game Switchers there are 6 files, each with a il2fb.exe.

How do you use these Game Switchers?

With these swithes you are able to change the game version, without having another copy of the game on your HDD for each game version.
Witch switcher are you using?
Normally there should be a batch file to switch the game version.
When you run one of these batches it copies the correct files to the game directory and you are able to run the game via the il2fb.exe in the game directory.
Do not manually copy these files.

I'm not any using any switcher, because I don't know how to use them.

Not too sure about the batch file either.

But within the _Game Switchers file there are 6 files/folders

4.08 Mod On (No 6DoF)
4.08 Mod 6DoF On
4.08 Mod Off (Original)
4.09 Mods 6DoF On
4.09 Mods Off (Original)
4.09 Mods On (No 6DoF)

I think at the moment it's set up to use 4.09 Mods On (No 6DoF)

If I want to use the 4.09 Mods 6Dof On, do I just click on the exe in the 4.09 Mods 6DoF On?

I found the read me, so I think I'm sorted, thanks.

Was the the switcher that comes with the Unified Installer stuff?
Or where did ya get that from?

I though manipulating what I now know is the batch files was the way to do it, but I found the actual switcher after reading the read me in the root of the 1946 folder.

Yes it comes with the unified installer

Besides the batch files, the Unified Installer also puts an .exe called IL2Version Switcher into your game folder. Copy this to your desktop- then all you have to do is click on it and select the version you want. A bit easier than having to go through the batch files looking for the right one.

Seems like an unnecessary extra toy.
I just added a new icon for Il-2 Modded and select that when needed.
