DualCore Processor + Vista 64 bit + Il2 + Hyperlobby + TrackIR + Satek X52 + Saitek Rudder Pedals + Saitek PCDash II + wireless LAN
THAT'S ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM !
It can be done in 4 hours including OS install and every other software install.
Don't fear everybody - it works. I tried it out.
Only Hyperlobby starts whining a bit and you have to start the installer in XP SP2 compatibility mode.
If anyone has any qustion regarding these "tough" installation - don't hazitate to ask me.
I might be able to help you or at least can lead you through the process.

you have IL working on Vista 64 bit?
I might be getting a new machine and Vista64 bit would be my prefered os (need it for work)
