Many of us have complained over the years about the qualities of the Mustang in Il2. I recently ran across this great source of info on how to fly and win with the Pony- highly recommended!

Just watch the tracks and you'll learn heaps.

Good stoof!!

The lad can sure make that pony do amzing things.

Amazing you say? WTF??

He sawed the wing off an IL2 in pass with those puny .50's!!!

He sent another down in one pass with those little BB guns!!!

HE turned the tables on an ANTON that had a great advantage and then SHOT HIM DOWN LIKE A DOG! ( with those little cap guns  )

The guy is a wizard, very precise..

He must be using a hack to make the .50's hit like MK 108's.... J/K

Good stuff, watch the .avi files and enjoy the narration. :D

I think the whole trick with the .50s is in being able to judge the convergence distance and the lead- if you hit something with them at convergence, they'll shred it.

If you want to try this stuff out, I'd say the first thing you need is to have your joystick set up to send continuous key presses for raising and lowering both prop pitch, trim and flaps, as well as for zooming your view in and out.
If you have a CH stick, I can show you how to set that up using cms scripting.

Wasn't there a man a few years back who did some stuff with a horse that ended badly? :?

Uhhhh I been in more than one horsewreck without the benefit of any help from North American. Although every one of my wrecks happened in North America..

On the down side of 3 of those wrecks, I had to cut my saddle loose and walk several miles back to civilization. The poor horses weren't able to. :(

As far as anything else? I was never there.
