In fact there's a strange little story about the Beatles and Irish uilleann piper Paddy Keenan. It seems they asked him to record some tracks to use while they were working on the "White Album". Before he got to the session at Abby Road, Paddy suffered a panic attack and threw his pipes in a nearby dumpster. The pipes were thankfully rescued by a friend, but Paddy's playing never got onto the record.
