No BoB is not out yet. It's my new rig to be completed by Friday. I have limited funds (thanks to de wiff) so I had to settle for an NVidia 8500 card. Should run some new games ok I guess. It'll be the first time I'll be using an Athlon processor (4 GHz). I opted for 2 GIG Corsair RAM and a dual-layer burner. Will a 450 Watt Power Supply be sufficient? for this?
The more power the better

I´d run this system with a 550W power supply. It might be a bit too much but you´ll never know how much power all PC parts really consume ...

Yeah, I'd take a bit more than 450. I have a 450 myself, but my system needs a bit less than yours... Make sure you get a good PSU!

I'm on a 650w PSU, and considering the heat issues you may find that would run cooler than a 450W going flat out. ( also you should get bigger and better fans with the higher powered units)

This is an easy one:
Calculate your power supply with

Good call fellas. I just spoke to the guy who is building it (actually he's an Airport Duty Manager here who runs his own private PC building company at home) and he'll probably get me a 550Watt PSU. Hell, I can't wait to load up Splinter Cell Double Agent game on the new system. My copy couldn't run on the old PC. So, I guess I could run BoB on this when it comes out methinks?

Airway: Great link! Thanks!
AB: Just be sure your sub-woofer is toned down or disconnected if and when you're on TS.

Awwriiight! Set up the new rig and it runs like a dream. The NVidia 8500 ran the high end games without a frame drop on their respective highest settings. The Athlon processor was built for gaming and glad I got it instead of the Intel Dual core I was going to get. I ran the 19" Wide Screen panel monitor at 1440x900 at 75MHz. I got a case is an X-Alien with see-through panels and pretty lights (I can't afford an Alienware but at least it could look like one). The sub-woofer blew all the cows away. Now I'm as happy as a hog in mud.
