...no I'm not talking about Christmas. But that time what you Americans call Halloween and when Falcon decides to take off the hockey mask and scare all the kiddies away.. Here it's time for all my favorite Horror movies. This weekend I'm going to take in '30 Days of Night'. From what I heard it's a decent vampire flick. I've ordered '28 Weeks Later' the sequel to '28 Days Later' (to me the most decent film out of the UK in recent times). You guys seen anything lately worth picking up at the DVD store?
Neither ...

... I am a fan of "Helloween" (a typical US feast swaping over to Europe and unfortunately mainfesting here in Germany as well - I still prefer our catholic
St. Martin celebrations [BTW, I´m a protestant!] where kids running from door to door with their fancy lanterns in their hands and singing for sweets) nor I do prefer watching horror movies. Am I too sensitive or really a dsperate housewhimp?

Who cares anyway?
Nonetheless, enjoy your movies, AB!

Gee, Genosse didn't think you were that type, but you're cool anyway. Not all folks are into that gore/splatter thing anyway. But ever since my best friend took me to see 'Zombie 2' for my 16th Birthday I was hooked and had a phobia for topless Italian female scuba divers ever since.

I must wear a mask around the house.
Women all around the neighborhood were constantly knocking at the door or staring longingly through the windows trying to get a glimpse of me before that.
It's a curse.

Lucky you, Falky. In my part of the woods I was almost tarred and feathered by the locals when I ventured outside in my boxer shorts.

I thought 28 weeks later was pretty good, although I've never seen it's predecessor, so it might be worse than 28 days later. I don't like horror movies very much. They usually make me laugh, because they're so bad...

However, zombie movies seem to be an exception for me. I also liked Resident Evil, but maybe that was just because of
Milla Jovovich.
I also enjoyed the parody of Southpark on Dawn of the Dead. (

Another good (well... funny...) zombie movie is Braindead, by Peter Jackson (Yes, the guy that did lord of the rings!!).
The best British film I've seen lately was Children Of Men, but it didn't have zombies in it... at least, I didn't think so...
Anyway, when watching so much zombie stuff, one should have a zombie plan (

your zombie plan??

I agree most Horror movies are bad. But b-movies tend to show a lot of gore like the Italian b-movie 'Zombie 2' with a caption that says-'You Are What We Eat.' I liked the 1st Resident Evil. The 2nd was crappy. Haven't seen the 3rd one. 28 Days Later was pretty good.

Holy Ping Pong Balls! 28 Weeks Later rocks! It's much more action-packed than the first movie. I like the part where the helicopter pilot used his rotor blades to chop up the Rage Zombies.
