Well, the Airports Authority finally made my promotion official. No more lousy shifts in the control tower and no more bawling behind airline pilots. I'm now an Aviation Safety Inspector/Auditor with a raise and some other perks. So, now I have to bawl behind ground handlers and other airport operators. It's great to be a Dictator-for-Life now.

Thanks guys. Well, auditing is tough. With airlines cutting costs which degrades safety standards I have to ensure they all comply with IATA, ICAO and other statutes. The upside?- the pretty ladies are now available.

Congrats, AB!

Off the floor and up to the urinals, eh?
My company places an extraordinarily high priority on safety, especially because of the Air Medical mission.
Stick to your guns, m8. A lot of enmity can develope between Carriers and Safety. Do not compromise!
And maybe it's just me, but...
...I never thought of cows as "pretty".

Yeah, the job is tough. I did a Risk Assessment and Evaluation on the Aprons as well as audits on national and international carriers. Thanks for the support. The good news is that with the raise getting a new PC looks mighty possible now.
Erm, were those cows I was flirting with?

And were those udders I was looking at?

AB,
Congrats...remember the first rule in being an inspector/auditor...don't take checks!

Man, what a morning! A twin-engine aircraft landed with a blown nose wheel and limped off the runway and onto the taxiway. I had to go with the Duty Manager and take that 32 degree C heat. I took some photos but I'll get in trouble if I posted them here before the report is even in. The Venezuelan pilot was adamant we don't damage his plane, but our policy is to get him off the active taxiway at all costs. We finally agreed to let him limp to an isolated parking area. And what did the old AB get as a reward? A big fat cheque? Nah but a free lunch from the boss and a sun tan.
