Hi lads!
I've been directed here, because I wanted to fly with you. Still want by the way...
I've just started flying on-line and I'm having loads of fun, but I really would like to join a squadron. Is it possible to fly with you guys somewhere in the near future, so we can see how things go?
Cheers!

(<- gotta love that one! LOL

The question is - DO YOU REALLY WANT TO FLY WITH US???... just kidding... Well I think there are rules somewhere on this forum, what you have to do, and what you don't have to do to become a member...

Friday night we expect a DF with TB3's, and Sunday looks like a good bet for WW1 action.
See the thread in Squadron for details.
Welcome to the boards.

Ah! The TB3's are always good for fun!
Do I really want to fly with you guys, well... I was wondering about that... Does it really mean I have to stop eating babies?
I think I can make it tonight and I'll get teamspeak. I've read all the rules (yes! All of them!!

) and I think it should be possible for me not to break them...
BTW, my real name is Sytse (No, don't even think of pronouncing that!

) and I live in Groningen, The Netherlands. I'm 21 years old and I'm studying Psychology. I love music, playing flightsim and drinking lots of beer with the guys, like we did last night and the night before that and... well... you get the picture...
Looking forward to fly with you guys!
Cheers!
Oh, btw, what is CT? The same as EST?? What time is 8:00 CT in GMT?

Ok, but what is CT? I can't seem to find it in the table...?
Also, how do I add a signature to my posts? I just added an avatar, but I couldn't find something that would let me attach a signature to my posts.

CT? I guess it means US Central Time (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida (West)Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Tennessee (West ), Texas East, Ontario (West)) ... this squad definitely has a time zone problem ...
Just post another thread and you´ll be able to use a signature on this BB. It´s a security measurement to stop bots spamming this place ...
BTW, ... welcome to the boards!

Ok, Thanks! That would make it 8:00 + 6 for me, so 14:00 (2 PM). I'm in Holland. Does that sound about right? It's not really in the evening...

Hi Phoenix welcome.
Pretty sure =FI=Mikester and myself will be flying tonight about 8.00pm UK time. Your welcome to join us. Just page us in HL.
Might be doing 2v2 duels , 6v6 Coops or in a pit-on server somewhere.
If the other boys can be persuaded to put down their rifles, periscopes, elven wands

and rayguns some other M8's might join also

Forgot to tell you guys about my simming experience.
I started out in Falcon 3.0 I think...After that t'was on to wingcommander 3 and 4. Then I took a rest for a few years, until my father got me a copy of FS98. I played it for a while, but never with a joystick. I started playing with a stick in FS2002 and I think I might have logged over 1000 hours in that game. The next step was a WW2 sim. My sister got me MS Combat flight Sim for my birthday and I loved it! I played a lot on-line and I also joined a squad. I kept playing CFS till MS Zone stopped supporting it. I finaly decided to get myself a new computer and I ordered Lock On: Modern Air Combat and IL2. So that's where I am now...
BTW, thanks for the flight guys! It was really great fun!
