Man, the pics look great, but two reviews I read said it generally sucked.

I was thinking of getting Escape Velocity: Nova. It looked interesting. Anyone played that?

I ordered Hearts of Iron instead cuz I love trying to take Moscow.

The Witcher is coming soon. I might get that if reviews are good. Still have no emmediate plans to get Gothic III.

Hurry up BoB and the WWI sim thing!

The graphics for the game did look nice, sounded 'Elite' and 'X2/3' like and how could you go wrong - well very easily... the dogfighting part was absolutely crap. The setup and controls (though changable) wern't that fantastic or smooth like other games of that genre. It did have a few good things going for it, the idea for example was a sure winner - and it needs patching big time - way way to many bugs, its more beta.

I did go out and get Arma Assault oddly and I'm not sure if that was such a good idea - it seems a little laggy on my monster machine.. and on one mission I was supposed to take out some tanks and stuff... all on my own - and I might get a couple tanks or a couple troops but then I get hit (Dead - please start again) - seems somewhat impossible.

And the first campaign mission I think, there was shooting going on but I couldn't see any bad guys let alot bag one of them.. found a tank though.. well, it kinda found me and showed me whos boss (which I kinda liked - realism)

I know folks are raving about Arma Assault and I'll play it some more and see if I can work out why I'm stinking so bad and maybe get the sights to move a bit better or something

I played ArmA on my pal's powerful rig (Alienware) and lagged also. Too many bugs, too. But it's not for me I guess. But thanks for the heads up on the other game. No way I'm gonna waste money on a crappy game.

The game belongs to my pal and also I played it for a few minutes on his computer. It won't play on mine since I got a card overheating problem.
