Wow

Looks awesome. Does it require a DX10 card? Have tech specs been posted anywhere?

What about release dates?

Hey Greeny!

No, it will NOT require DX10

and no, no specific specs have been mentioned.

Well - it looks different league - very nice indeed.

About time that we had a decent game where those of us from dear old Blightly can re-live some action close to home.

I did try the BOB Wings of Victory game at one time, but life was way too short. I have no patience for buggy game that take weeks of patching and messing about.

We should be getting tech specs sometime in August I think.

The only 'official' info at the moment is that a system that can run IL2 at full specs should run BOB at lower end settings.

Yikes.

You're joking, right?

If the external view of an Me-109 in IL2 looks like an Me-109, which it does, then how to you expect them to make it look more like an ME-109 in Bob?

Pray tell me, what more you want to see?

Maybe each individual rivet, that should be on the airframe, should be detailed, with each one rendered slightly different, because no two rivets would look the same close up?

Multiply that by each individual aircraft, because no two individual aircraft would be exactly 100% the same!!

Multiply that by the glorious added detail to the cockpits, never mind 6Dof!, and multiply that by the added detail to the landscape!!!

What type of computer you expecting to play this game on?

Well ...

the internal model and the damage model will be vastly improved. What I wanted to emphasize was not an uber exterior ac example, but the purdy English countryside. The 109 in the pic is a very plane skin on possibly an Alpha ac model. Skins will be twice as detailed (actually 4x) as the old ones. From 1024x1024 up to 2048x2048 will give us rivet room up dah wazoo!

So get your Hal 9000's ready folk!

BOB Fever is among us, paint red crosses on your doors and put yer dead outside for mass burial.... Or have another beer and play IL2 which is still not shabby by anyones standards.

I've been playing a bit of BOB Wings of Victory and enjoying it but it occurs to me that whatever Oleg magics up for his version it is always going to be a limited scenario and until the follow up titles start rolling out (and we all know how long it takes Ubi to release anything) the charm of this thing could run out very quick.

1) I didn't say that it has lack of detail.
I said that it just looks like old one and I did not say that curent one isn't good. Maybe it is just me that doesn't see huge advance. ;)

2) I didn't say nothing about cockpits, which by the way look marveolous.

3)Probably not on my curent one, because it's old and crappy.

4)Yes I'm from Ubi and I hooked you.
:p

5) I'm allready pleased with 46.

6) Friends?
