Got to say guys, I've tried it and I quite like it.

The flight model is getting a bit better, not as floaty as previously. Not as good as IL2 FM but at least the AI gunners on the bombers don't have computer controlled target seeking bullets!

It's a bit of a bst'd to set up but make sure you're video card is set to "Let application decide" to start with and that the screen resolution and desktop resolution are the same (only to start with it can be tweaked from there).

I do quite like the campaign aspect.

While I've been spreading my wings, so to speak, I've also tried LOMAC, not that I'm into the computerised flying aspect (I'm confusing myself now), but it also has it's merits if your into jets and stuff.

Hope Olegs BOB has a decent campaing type thingy with realistic maps of GB the Channel and Europe. Then I'll be in cloud 9.

Between these other sims and RL thats why I've not been around for a while.

BOB II WOV is the best SP flight sim that I've played.
The campaign aspect is phenomenol!

Patch 2.06 really refined things quite a bit. The flight model has been tweaked significantly and the damage model is very cool.

Yep, the AI is really great, im most impressed. Way better than Il-2, but lacks MP. However, really immersive and gives you the feel of incredible chaos that occured when hundreds of aircraft got into fight. SimHQ's best of 2006;)
