We're sad to announce that The Immediate is splitting up due to existential differences.
We'd like to thank everyone who came to our shows and listened to 'In Towers & Clouds', everyone who loved or hated us, as well as anyone who helped us along the way… It's been a blast. Thankyou, sincerely.
We all still love each other.
Regularly.
Thankyou and goodnight,
much love xx

Never heard of them. They're probably not Metal so I won't miss 'em. Now, where's me Cannibal Corpse CD?

.
Maybe if you joined in in some of the sessions with the guys online you would have heard of them, as one of our members is in the band.

One of the band members is a member here? Who's that? Still never heard of them though. Anyway, Sneaks, CC is one of my fave bands. The lead singer sounds like Cookie Monster

The have some of the most grotesque imagery on their CD covers. They were featured on Ace Ventura Pet Detective. But like Iron Maiden said- "UP THE IRONS!"
Altarboy is still listening to metal even though he hasn't started shaving yet-at least not on his face.

Yep my heavy rock days ended when the wife insisted on buying me those nose and ear hair clippers.
Well shorn I settle down with pipe and slippers to some 1950's Joe Pass jazz guitar.

Geeez, marriage can sure wreck a man's life.

However, knowing the old AB's rebellious streak I fought my wife down and she grudgingly accepted that 'noise' coming from my speakers. Some years ago I attended a concert featuring a band called Deicide. But shied away from the mosh pit since I didn't fancy having broken ribs.
Mosh Pit (noun)- a place usually in front of a stage where people slam against each other with no regard for one's own safety and those of others.
