Hello lads!

My name is Jaime "Jimmy" Pereira AKA Hagar in IL2,

I looked up for a good squadron to join on the forums of the official site, and guess what? you were the only one that caught my eye, due to good atmosphere and dimension of the project.
As a result i just made an application to join you guys, if youll have me, of course...

A bit about myself: im 31, im from Portugal, like computer games and beer, not in that order usually ;-)
Im quite new to IL2, but i manage to hold my own, i play version 4.071, usually on ukdedicated.1 server on hypperlobby

Well, guess that is all for now, see ya at the forums, and who knows online...

P.S. You guys have your own server, so i can stop by and fly a bit?

Best regards all, clear skyes!

Jimmy

Welcome to the boards, mate! :D

Just prepare yourself and get following software just in order to join us for example on our Sunday COOP Session at 1930 GMT that we run on the 4.05 version:

Hyperlobby
Version Switcher
Teamspeak

If you should have any questions about them donĀ“t hesitate to ask them here ...

Boa vinda, piloto! ^:)

Cheers, mate, welcome to the FI forums.Hope you'll enjoy yer time with us.

Regarding the Sunday COOP Sessions - we are still using the 4.05 version due to the fact that not all members of the FI got their hands on Il-2 1946 yet. When more of us have the 1946 pink and fluffy thiingy we will switch officialy to the latest version, I supppose. This is when the version switcher, posted above by Genosse, proves handy - you can have one single install with all necessary versions - 4.04, 4.05, 4.07 and 4.071.

S! and be good to the sheep

Mac

Welcome, Hagar!

Port is my fabourite drink, after beer, vodka, whiskey and wine.

Water is low on the list, unless it has whiskey in it.

Yeah, I guess the pissing and the passing out often occur at close to the same time. Still... if there's a trail in the snow.
