What are you guys playing now?

Of all the games out there what is currently played? I only have CoD Deluxe and BF2 Deluxe. I bought BF2 just this week because I finaly can run the game. If you play CoD2 instead, guess I'll have to dig a little deeper.
Let me know, I'm anxious to practice bullet catching. It's a nice break away from being shot out of the air or fly just to see the prety rendered skies.

CoD2 didn't have the features we wanted, so CoD UO has been the game.
BF2 is coming on strong, too!
Check out the Platoon Forum for info on required patches, maps, etc.

So what were the options people wanted but couldn't get from CoD2? Co-op? Teamplay? Pink underwear?

The authors of CoD 2 didn't include the "at least as good as CoD/UO" option.

So, who wants to shoot me first and who do I need to bug to gain access to the platoon forum? I haven't seen Dutchman yet but that's where my PM went

Hi Kitty, Dutch is away at the moment but short of a semi-official changeover which is due to take place very soon, the Platoon is using TeamSpeak to find and then stick together on servers. QTracker works with BF2 and has a Player Tracker thing but it doesn't work very well so for the time being TeamSpeak is the easiest way to find servers that we can all play on together.
Dutch will soon be hosting Co-op matches for FI versus AI and if you're new to the game, it's good to get as much practice in before venuturing online, because as soon as you go up against real players, you're gonna go through a long spell of getting killed and getting killed and getting killed and getting killed and not knowing what the hell is going on. BF2 is basically just a pyramid scheme - ask Rab
So, if you use TeamSpeak, that's the best way to play BF2 with the Platoon but if not, I'll send you a PM when we're all on a good server, I'll write the IP number and any other relevant information.

I returned the game, so it looks like I'm out. Have fun with the platoon.
